Local elections? Yes, you can vote! In Prague, you will have the chance to elect the new mayor as well as city councilors and members of the city’s district councils. Apply to your local town hall to be included on the voters’ register and vote for PRAHA SOBĚ on the 23rd and 24th of September!
Things in Prague are finally changing for the better. Thanks to you, after the 2018 local elections, we finally managed to release the city from the “godfathers“. We’re repairing bridges, building the metro D line, and new tram lines. We’re rebuilding and renovating the Industrial Palace. We’re increasing the capacity of care services and retirement homes. We’re making public transport faster, saving you time. We’re actually building the P+R car parks that were promised for decades. And this is just a start. Imagine how much more we could achieve in the next four years.
HOW TO REGISTER TO VOTE?
- You are a citizen of an EU country
- You have either temporary or permanent residence in Prague
- You apply to your local town hall
You should fill in (in Czech) and sign the form overleaf and take it to the town hall of the Prague municipality where you are resident (Prague 1, 2, 3, etc.), together with your residency permit.
Please don’t forget! The deadline for registration is 3 days before the elections, i.e. by 16:00 on 20 September.
The elections will take place on Friday, 23 September 2022, 14:00 – 22:00 and Saturday, 24 September 2022, 8:00 – 14:00.
